Marshall Public Library Presents: Downloadable eAudiobooks
Do you like to read, but find your time is limited? Are you a frequent traveler? Would you rather listen to a book for a change while working out, doing housework or gardening? Does waiting on a long hold list for a book frustrate you? Or perhaps your bookgroup would like multiple copies of a book without having to always purchase them…..
Downloadable eAudiobooks may be just the thing for you.
Thanks to the Idaho Commission for Libraries this new service has been made available to all Idaho libraries for the next year. eAudiobooks are books that can be downloaded to your home computer and either listened to on your computer or transferred (synchronized) to an MP3 player. Similar to downloading music, these books allow you to “borrow” a license for 3 weeks with a 3 week renewal. No overdues. No fines. No need to come to the library... Really!
Over 2,000 titles are available through your local library, ranging from best sellers, book club favorites, children’s and young adult titles, classics, and non-fiction including the Pimsleur language series and the CEV Holy Bible Collection.
Contact the library for a list of compatible players. If you’re not sure you want to invest in an MP3 player at this time, you can try one out that the Marshall Public Library has for loan.
Check out the link on our webpage (www.marshallpl.org) to LiLi eAudiobooks and follow the instructions for setting up an account, or come into the library for assistance.
