The New Dawn Gallery at 357 W. Center Street Suite 104 will open its "Women's Invitational Art Exhibit" beginning June 6, 2008, coinciding with Pocatello's monthly Art Walk. The participants in this juried show are recognized regional artists, including Phyllis Brown, Susanne Forrest, Karen Grasso, Sarah Krank, Helen Livingston, Anne Merkley, Kathy Torgeson-Murdock and Linda Wolfe. All of them have previously shown regionally and nationally. Media includes oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, textile, charcoal, and linocut.
The New Dawn Gallery is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement and understanding of the Fine Arts in Pocatello. It opened in November 2006 and has consistently been a favorite among the strolling public of the Art Walk.
The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the exhibit will run for two months through July, 2008. For more information call 226-4226.
