If you enjoyed their show in Pocatello, or you missed the chance to see them, join us as the Marsh Valley Performing Arts Committee presents BYU Young Ambassadors and "The New American Songbook".  This variety stage production will celebrate popular music and dance of the 1960s up to the present day, and feature familiar tunes that will no doubt have the audience tapping their toes and humming along. The Young Ambassadors will perform at the Marsh Valley Performing Arts Center, in Arimo, on December 8th, at 7:00 pm.
Featuring hits by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Diamond Rio, Billy Joel, and including some of the most exciting moments from Disney and Broadway today, The Young Ambassadors guarantee that this 90-minute presentation will have something for everyone. Instrumentalists will enjoy the return, after a 20-year absence, of a full 10-piece show band that will be positioned center stage. Family audiences will not want to miss songs from the movies Tarzan, Hercules, and the Broadway musicals Wicked, Spamalot, and A Chorus Line.
Over the past 37 years the Young Ambassadors have shared their remarkable talent and energy in more than 68 countries and have gained a strong reputation as wholesome, professional entertainers.
"For this show, especially," said artistic director Randy Boothe, "we have really sifted through and found the most fun, most positive, and most uplifting music—music that typifies wholesome, family entertainment. The New American Songbook celebrates the positive and the very best that life has to offer. "

Tickets are available at Main Street Music and Piano Gallery in Pocatello as well as at Marsh Valley District elementary schools.  Tickets are $10 adults and $5 for children 12 and under.  All ages welcome!  Questions, call Angie @ 709-3640.

What a neat thing to be able to go see. I hope that I'm not the late bird and won't be able to get tickets. I can't wait for Monday morning. Nothing like wishing the weekend to be over just to see if I can get tickets. This is what makes Pocatello a wonderful place to live in that we can get tickets at such a good price. Everyone we need to get out and support things like this so it comes to Pocatello and the surrounding towns. but not before I have a chance to buy my ticket. Just kidding. The early bird dose get the best seats.)
