0 responses 0 comments We know you've been dying to show off the adorable kids in your life, so this month we're giving you the chance by making the December photo contest theme "kids."

We want to see your best photos of your kids (or someone else's, for that matter). They can be sweet, silly, beautiful, goofy or just plain perfect. This is the perfect excuse to get your young 'uns to pose for your camera and capture their unique personalities.

Upload your best kid photos on TheJHub.com (ONE ENTRY PER PERSON, PLEASE) for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Carmike Cinemas. Plus, the top photos will be featured in an upcoming print edition of TheJHub.com in the Idaho State Journal.

Here are the official rules for the contest:

-Post an “article,” be sure to make the category “photos” and upload your photograph

-Put “photo contest” somewhere in the title of the article

-PLEASE NOTE (THIS IS A NEW RULE): Only one entry per person. Entries must be posted online at TheJHub.com. Entries delivered by hand or multiple entries will result in the disqualification of the entrant.

-If the photo is not of your kid, you must have the child's parents' permission before posting the photo.

-Add a quick note about where the photo was taken, who the featured kid(s) is and what inspired you

-One entry per person

-Deadline for entries is Sunday, Dec. 16

-Winners will be announced on TheJHub.com by Wednesday, Dec. 19

-Prizes: The first place winner will receive a $25 gift card to Carmike Cinemas. The top photos will be published in an upcoming version of TheJHub.com in print

-The photo must be the original work of the entrant

-Entries will be judged by the Idaho State Journal photo staff, and they’ll be looking for photo quality, creativity, and how well the photo represents the theme
