The only deer that we would see today would be just inside that finger of pines that my brother (lower left corner) is seen walking towards.  I don't know where that deer is right now but I know that we surely never brought it home with us.  What I like best about this photograph is that the scale of everything compared to my brother.  It reminds me just how insignificant we can be.
