Interested in Olympic Style Amateur Boxing? Gate City Boxing Club at 323 North Main in Old Town Pocatello is now registering boxers for the 2007 / 2008 season.
Gym Hours are 5:30 pm to 7:30pm Monday thru Thursday
Amateur Boxing is open to persons 8 years of age to 34 years of age. Both male and female in Junior and Senior Divisions. The Junior Division is for 8-16 year olds with 17-34 year olds in the Senior Division.
Registration fees are $50 a year.
Contrary to most beliefs Amateur boxing is safer than Football, Basketball or Soccer. With Far less injuries
Did you know that there are scholarships available through USA Boxing and Golden Gloves? Some local boxers have received these scholarships and have been able to go to college because of the extra assistance.
