The American Legion Auxiliary national president, Desiree Stoy of Belleville, Ohio, will be in Blackfoot Sept. 27 at their district meeting at the Shilling House Reception Center, 214 S. University Ave. More than 100 auxiliary members are expected to attend. Stoy will speak about HOPE, or Honor Our Promises Every Day for Idaho veterans, their families and children.
