NOTE: The deadline for photo entries has been moved to Sept.15! If you're been waiting to submit your photos, this is your chance.

TheJHub.com is very pleased to announce its first-ever photo contest!

Submit your photos of life in Southeastern Idaho on TheJHub.com by Sept. 15, and you could win a $50 grand prize.

Entering is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Sign up for a TheJHub.com profile.
2. Post an article, and put “photo contest” somewhere in the title.
3. Upload your photo, and be sure to put “photos” as the category. You can write some info about your photo, or just leave the rest of the article blank – it’s up to you!

So what does “life in Southeastern Idaho” mean? Whatever it means to you – your child’s birthday party, the great outdoors, that huge fish you caught, an ISU football game, or anything else that represents life in Southeastern Idaho to you. Entries will be judged by the Idaho State Journal’s photo staff, and they’ll be looking for photo quality, creativity, and how well the photo represents the theme. 

Entries must be your original work.

The winner of the $50 grand prize will be announced on TheJHub.com on Sept. 12. In the meantime, return often to check out and comment on the other photo entries. If you have any questions, e-mail kcarpenter@journalnet.com.
