When: Saturday, Aug. 30 begining at 11 a.m.
Who: Sonic Devastation, Neckbrace, Hatelocker, Dimmencha, Denots, Terrorist, Randall Prince, 2 a.m. Logic, Breaux, Ixxion, Arsenic Addiction and two special guest bands.
Tickets: $10 for adults, kids 12 and under get in free.
IDAHO FALLS — It’s back! Blakefest II: Metal Against Meth is set for Saturday, Aug. 30 in the back yard of the home of Blake and Michell Shropshire in Idaho Falls.
The first Blakefest concert was held near the end of June and raised nearly $3,000 for the Idaho Meth Project.
Bands who are set to perform at the Aug. 30 event are Sonic Devastation, Neckbrace, Hatelocker, Dimmencha, Denots, Terrorist, Randall Prince, 2 a.m. Logic, Breaux, Ixxion, Arsenic Addiction and two special guest bands.
Tickets are $10 for adults and kids 12 and under get in for free.
Once again all proceeds from this show will be donated to the Idaho Meth project.
While most of the band who will be performing are from the Southeast Idaho area, a few of them are going to be making a longer commute to Idaho Falls.
Arsenc Addiction hails from Sandy, Utah. Breaux is from Salt Lake City, Terrorist is from Elko Nevada.
The Shropshires decided to make Blakefest an all ages show to encourage parents to bring their kids to learn about the dangers of meth.
