Local bands, post your shows online on the Jhub

0 responses 0 comments Hey all you local bands out there, I want to know when your upcoming shows are! As many of you know, I put together a weekly concert calendar for the Variety section that runs in Sunday's print edition. As of now, I gather that info by going to all of your individual myspace pages, or by some of the e-mails I get. As you can imagine, it is incredibly time consuming!

So  I am suggesting that when you post your shows on myspace, post them on the Jhub calendar too. Since I manage the site I check it several times a day. Not only would it make it easier for me to get all of your shows in the print edition, the Jhub gets over 22,000 page views a month, so ALOT of people will be seeing it . . . a lot of people that may not know about it otherwise.

So, kill two birds with one stone, as they say. You don't even have to be a Jhub user to post to the calendar, so tell other people who may be interested.
