The first annual Treasure Valley Train Expo will be held September 5, 6 and 7 at the O’Connor Field House in Caldwell, Idaho. The show will have model train layouts, “How to” clinics, modeling contests and vendor tables. Model railroading is a great way to bring Mom and Dad and kids together to create a great family project.
A popular feature of the event will be Train Mart, a consignment store, where new and used items relating to model trains or prototype railroading will be sold at bargain prices. Anyone who has items related to railroading and would like to sell them are urged to immediately go to www.protel-com.com/TVTE/trainmart.htm to learn how to put your items on sale. Items are sold with a 10% commission. Profits from Train Mart will be given to the Caldwell Model Railroad Club to help build their layout and expand and improve the historical demonstration layout in the Caldwell Depot.
Treasure Valley Train Expo is sponsored and supported by Team Dewey Toys & Hobbies located in Karcher Mall, Nampa, Idaho.
This event will fascinate not only the kids, but mom and dad and grandparents. It’s a great family event.

Time: 12 noon - 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 12 noon - 6 p.m., Sunday
