9:30 a.m. — Football throwing at the Preston High School track.
10:30 a.m. — Tater Tot Eating Contest at Big J's restaurant
1 p.m. — Moon Boot Dance at Benson Park.
1 p.m. — Look a like contest at Benson Park
1 p.m. — Napolean Impersonating Contest at Benson Park
4 p.m. Sweet Bike/Roller blade contest on State Street
6 p.m. — Family of Fun carnival
6:30 p.m. — Rodeo Parade along State Street.
8:30 — Preston Night Rodeo.
Napolean Festival Events are free for all to attend, however, those who want to enter the contests need to register ahead of time. The fee to participate in each contest is $5, with a limited amount of contestants per contest, so register early! You can register in the following ways:
1. e-mail entries to pacc@dcdi.net and prepay on http://www.paypal.com
2. Call 208-852-2703 and pay with a credit card
3. Register in person at the Preston Chamber of Commerce at 49 North State St.
All contest winners will be awarded prize money. First place: $200, Second place: $100, Third place: $75 and an original Napolean Dynamite T-shirt, boondoggle key chain and a sweet tour map.
