Cary Judd to perform at Idaho State University
POCATELLO- Cary Judd will be performing on the I.S.U. Quad on Thursday July 24 at 6:00 p.m.
Originally John Rush, “the human I-pod” had been scheduled for this date but due to a family emergency he will not be able to perform.
Cary Judd undoubtedly redefines the one-man-show. Deceptively understated as just a man and a guitar, what you see is not all you get. Cary begins each show by playing a riff or progression that finds itself embellished in a swirl of drum and guitar loops that he masterfully creates with a series of electronic pedals at his feet. His songs – vulnerable, clever and beautifully full of contradictions – appeal to virtually all listeners because of their raw connection with human fear, hope and triumph. Cary has opened for acts such as Ari Hest, Pedro the Lion, Of Montreal, Citizen Cope, Matt Wertz, The Headlights, Life House and many more.
Summer concerts are free to everyone that attends; however, if you bring canned or non-perishable goods you can exchange them for I.S.U. summer gear. All goods will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank.
