ONE-DAY PROJECT TO DISRUPT BANNOCK HIGHWAY TRAFFIC
Water Department Schedules Work July 21, 2008
The City of Pocatello’s Water Department is undertaking a one-day water system improvement project on Monday, July 21, 2008 in the area of 3599 to 3665 Bannock Highway. Crews will work from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m. to improve the water pressure in the Johnny Creek area.
It will be necessary to close one lane of traffic for the safety of the public and City employees. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic, but motorists can expect delays.
“These improvements will greatly enhance the City’s ability to provide quality, reliable service to our customers,” said Bob Scharfen, Main Line Supervisor. “We ask for everyone’s understanding and cooperation.”
This project, like all other water system improvement projects, is funded by the Water Department’s capital improvement fund. There is no cost to property owners.
