POCATELLO — The annual Bannock County Bluegrass Festival has been set for Aug. 22, 23 and 24 at the Bannock County Fairgrounds.
The musical lineup will be: Digger Davis and Tombstone from Texas, Chicken Dinner Road from Boise, New South Fork from Idaho Falls, Wild Coyotes from Poctello, Red Desert Ramblers from Salt Lake City, Strings Attached from Twin Falls, Will Williams and Gravel Road, from White Bird and Tradition, from Nampa.
The festivities will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. In addition to daily concerts, there will also be a Big Barn Dance and all night jam. There will be music workshops, an open mic session and a square dance workshop.
Dogs will be allowed in camp area only and must be on a leash. No dogs, bikes or alcohol are permitted in the concert area.
A ticket for the entire weekend is $30 a person if purchased before Aug. 1. After Aug. 1 the price is $35 each. Children 14 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Camping is $10 per night for spaces with electric hookups and $5 per night for rough camping and tents. Gates open Thursday, Aug. 23 at noon for camping.
