The war in Iraq is no doubt the most important issue right now. It ties in with the war on terror, national security, energy security, fiscal responsibility, the blood of our finest, and the lives of millions of Iraqi's directly affected every day by this situation. Repurcussions for failure will be devastating to our future and the future of the Iraqi people. The difference between the candidates is stark. All other issues, including others that I am very interested in, are by comparison very low on the roster. We as voters should pay very close attention to both Obama's and McCain's plans and vote for the person that will lead us to an overarching success on this issue.

Recent polls I've heard about place the economy ahead of the war. Pardon my cynicism, but I'm reluctant to ask that either McCain or Obama focus on the economy, cause they'd no doubt make it worse.

Ike is right. And just how much money (and human lives) do we keep spending on Iraq, as millions of people here continue to struggle?
