All Adults (no children please) are encouraged to attend this presentation to better educate themselves on the drug, gang, and Internet activity that has become a pandemic in our community.
Agenda: Helen Lusk: Chairman, Bannock County Community Coalition —opening remarks.
Debbie Field —Idaho State Drug Czar —Remarks.
Kim Ellis — Pocatello Police Department —Presentation on internet/computer/myspace/pornography.
Howard Manning/John Raukar — Presentation on drugs/alcohol/gang activity in Bannock County. They are doing this free of charge for the community. They have been invited all over the state and surrounding states to give this presentation to packed rooms with parents and educators. This is an excellent presentation and something absolutely everyone should see to educate themselves on the dangers that are plaguing our community.
We will also have information tables set up with pamphlets from different areas of the recovery community. There will be representatives from Health and Welfare, the Counseling Community, the Juvenile Probation Department, the Public Defenders Office and others on hand to answer and questions parents may have after the presentation.
Please plan to attend and spread the word to everyone you know. The only way we can combat the pandemic is to educate ourselves and then educate our children. The presenters are doing this free of charge for the benefit of the entire community. Please support them by attending.

I wish this type of forum was available at the time I needed some answers after having my world pulled out from underneath my feet. This is a tremendous opportunity to educate ourselves and take our families back. Its time to tackle the hard issues such as the high rate of prescription medication abuse in the area and how drugs are absolutely non discriminatory; if they haven't touched you or someone you know, they will. Prepare yourself by being informed. It will be time well spent.
