No. My position has always been that the general public lacks the stress fire,and tactical skills to handle a campus emergency of this type. First ensure your own safety, then help others if you are in a position to do so. Comment From: Ike

Concealed weapons should be allowed on campus because they are allowed in most other public forums. College campuses aren't sacred.  If people lack the training to carry concealed weapons on campus, then they lack the training to carry anywhere else, and should be therefore banned in any public setting. Those are both very good points. I am completely torn on the issue. If some crazed lunatic came to campus while I was there I would want someone there with a weapon to be able to provide protection, but at the same time you don't want the crazed lunatic to be the one with the gun. When I went to campus last week and asked people about this issue it seemed that most people were pretty torn about it as well. Comment From: jinx

I think people that are goin got hurt other people, will do so regaurdless if they have a gun or not. You might be able to control the guns on campus one day, but you have no control over free will.
