"Idaho's Premier Wind Chamber Ensemble" to perform at Marsh Valley

The Marsh Valley Performing Arts Committee is pleased to present the final concert of their season on Thursday, May 8th at 7:00 pm in Arimo. The Pro Art Wind Quintet will perform "Peter and the Wolf" featuring original music by Sergei Prokofief arranged for woodwind quintet, complete with narration. They will also present "Americana" with All-American music by Gershwin, Rogers, Joplin, Sousa etc.
The Pro Art Wind Quintet: Nicole Molumby-Flute, Ken Burkholder- Oboe, Dr. Leslie Moreau -Clarinet, Janelle Oberbillig-Bassoon and Bruce Dorcy-French Horn, is comprised of first-desk wind players from some of the northwest's finest orchestral ensembles including the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra, Pacific Chamber Symphony, Boise Baroque Orchestra, Boise Chamber Orchestra, Opera Idaho and Boise Chamber
Music Society.
Besides doing full-length concerts and recitals, the musicians of the Pro Art Wind Quintet share an interest and commitment in Young Audience programming and will be sharing "Peter and the Wolf" with the Marsh Valley District Elementary school children during the day as well as presenting a Master Class to the Middle School and High School students.
Tickets for the evening concert are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. They are available in Pocatello at Main Street Music and Piano Gallery as well as at any of the Marsh Valley District Elementary schools. For more information contact Angie @ 709-3640.
