About unboxed

I was accused of being "terse" on my profile, and needed to provide additional information...

I grew up in SE Idaho, but moved away after graduating from High School. All of my family members still reside there, and consequently I visit quite often.

I work for an investment brokerage based out of Salt Lake. We deal in the buying and selling of foreign currency as a form of investment. Business is good, and we are growing fast. We also have an office in Beijing, and since I speak Mandarin, I was sent over to pilot our efforts here.

Beijing is great. The pollution sucks, to be short, but the weather is nice. We don't get much snow in the city - just a couple snow falls this last winter - even though temps were below freezing most of the time.

I encourage everyone to live abroad once in their lifetime - not just travel abroad, but to live and experience life not as an American, but as a native. Perspective on life in America greatly changes. I guess its true what they say, you don't know what you have until its gone.

I have a Nikon D200 and love photography. I purchased a URL to show my pictures to friends and family, and you can check it out at - www.visuallyunboxed.com

I'm so jealous that you speak Mandarin. It's one of my goals to accomplish sometime in the next 5 years. Very Nice. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog. :-)
