This mule deer can be found in the Pocatello Zoo. I sat and chatted with him for a while until we were rudely interrupted by the turkeys..... turkeys.

This picture was taken at Sacajawea Park in Pocatello. I spotted a deer and got ready to take a pic when suddenly a large bird flew through the trees and scared the deer away. I was a little bummed until he landed above me and I got a good look. He sat patiently while I snapped a few pics and then he cocked his head and flew away.

This is a mantis that I found at Sacajawea park. She was sitting on the path but quickly scampered into the grass to pose for this shot.
