NEW EXHIBIT AT THE ART MUSEUM EXPLORES VIVID LANDSCAPES OF THE WEST AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF CLAY
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – The newest art exhibit at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho brings together the spontaneous, luminous paintings of Ted Waddell and the contemporary pottery and ceramics of friends and mentors Kathy Galloway, Susan Harris, Seth Rainville, Done Ridley and Russ Wrankle. The Paintings of Ted Waddell and The Objects of Our Friendship will be in Idaho Falls through July 12.
Waddell is a sophisticated modernist painter whose works have attracted widespread recognition. A cattle rancher who splits his time between the Musselshell River northwest of Billings, MT, and Hailey, ID, he often paints freely-rendered range animals roaming the vast plains of eastern Montana using a combination of oil and wax.
