We had a great time at the fairgrounds for the 4th of July. We were so glad at how well our kids game area was received! We had 4 different games with prizes for 25 cents a game or $1 for a try at all of them.
The most fun for us was seeing what kids created while making "Pet Rocks" and red, white or blue star necklaces. A couple weeks ago one of our kid artists made hair for their creation! For the 4th we added a box of yarn peices cut into about 4 - 6 inch strips and tied into small bundles. Lots of kids glued them onto their pet rocks for hair. What a hoot. For just $1, kids could make a pet rock and design a necklace, too.
