Having known Akbar ( though admittedly not that well), I would simply say that at times such as this, it is important to withhold judgment until something is actually proven. An indictment is simply an allegation; it is far from proof that the individual(s) named in it are actually guilty. We have no way of knowing the level of involvement that Akbar had, if any. While it is indeed sad news that he is even named in the indictment, remember that the fundamental belief of our legal system is "innocent until proven guilty," or at least it is supposed to be. Only time will tell if Akbar was actually complicit in the activities named, or if he simply got caught up in activities being done by those around him (i.e. his mother).
