We are so lucky to be so close to the Eastern Idaho State Fair! I hope everyone plans to support our local fair this year. There are lots of great things to see, to do, to eat and to learn at the fair! There is also the carnival!!! You'll see a great Rodeo, booths, lots of free entertainment, clowns, livestock, gardening, flowers, vegetables,and of course the petting zoo by McKee's is one of my favorite things to see and do at our fair.
Joe and I just returned from the Western Idaho State Fair in Boise and we were amazed at how different it is from the Eastern Idaho State Fair. This years theme is: Your Ticket To Fun! It runs from August 30 - September 6, 2008 - Hope to see everyone out at Blackfoot. Maybe some families or friends might want to consider car pooling to save on gas!
