Both Clinton and Obama have clearly vocalized a desire to remove troops from Iraq, and that a withdrawal of troops from Iraq IS NOT defeat - and therefore, I guess, a means to victory.
Could somebody explain this logic to me?
I phrase this in a sincere desire to understand, and not in a manner that mocks the two Democratic rivals. Nevertheless, I have to say that this strikes me as counter-intuitive. Since when has ANY war been won by a permenant retreat?
