Photo Contest
Are you ready for July's photo contest results? Drum roll . . . . the winner is Debra L. Towsley's photo of the girl praying in the mission. It is such a beautiful photo, and we felt it fit the theme very well. Congrats, Debra! You have won a $50 gift card to Fred Meyer! Runners up are “July 4, 2008,” by LightsAndPerfection; “Celebrating ‘Ethan’ Style” by Jessie; and the little girl holding the flag by townbran. Thank you to all who entered. August's photo contest deadline will be Aug. 22. Ok,with the help of some Jhub users, the theme "Kids Have the Most Fun." has been decided on. Thanks for the suggestions! A winner will be announced on Aug. 29. We are going to try something different with this month's photo contest. We are going to have two winners . . . one voted on by you, the Jhub users, and then an editor's pick. The $50 prize will be split between the two. All of August's entries will be placed in the spot where the caption contest is now and votes will be accepted Aug. 22 through the 28 to ensure all of the entries are being voted on for the same amount of time. When the time comes to vote, simply add a comment to the photo you want to vote for. Photo contest rules are: 1. Entries must be by Jhub users and submitted online via the Jhub. 2. One entry per person per month. If you want to submit more than one, that is fine, but please specify which one you would like entered in the contest. 3. Users cannot win two months in a row.
