AH! Pocatello!

Okay... After much investigation, I've come to realize that this site is FOR Pocatelloans. LOL I'm a bit on the slow side. Blogging is still a mystery to me and needs more investigation. I went over the new building, the randevu, lol, center. Yes, I do know that I spelt that wrong. I went over there for that party. Not bad really. Kinda expected more. But ISU is ISU. I can look out my bedroom window right now over looking the city. I sure will miss that view while I'm in Alaska... or Oregon... which ever we go first. I will miss Pocatello as a whole. This whole community is home. This is where I grew up. I will come back to the magical Portnuf Valley some day to ride these trails again. One day I will venture back into that scary cafe only to hear that the liberals still hate their conservitive president. And maybe I will sit on my favorite swing in Ross Park and tell my children that before this was a drug and gay hook up spot that I used to play and take family pictures.

Isn't that sad. How I remember it back then... and then today. I used to love going to some of the parks and climbing on the rock walls. I loved goign into a small cafe and ordering a fruit smoothie or an italian soda... but the older I became, the more politics began to influence me. I didn't want it that way... I DONT want it that way. And poor Pocatello must bear two great political parties that ruin friendships and stand in the way of a good coffee and conversation...

Well... there's my rant. I'm going to bed. Night Ya'll

I only suggest that when you return the liberals will likely have long forgotten this president but I would be willing to bet the ranch the conservative will not have forgotten Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy.......

When the day comes you venture back to Pocatello you will probably find the "Gay Community" Stronger and More Open than ever before.  Sure you want to come back?

There is nothing wrong with Pocatello.  The way I look at it yes there are a lot of people that tend to be on either one side or the other.  But, that is what competition is all about.  I feel as though Pocatello has really grown up a lot over the years.  Yes we do have a strong gay community.  So what!!  They are part of our community, they pay taxes (usually more than we do) they own businesses  I mean what are they hurting?  I really think too many people want to stereotype.  The last time I checked we all put our pants on one leg at a time and we all breathe the same air.  People need to get off their high horses and accept people for who they are and what they accomplish.  Not their differences.  Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they are lazy, just because someone is gay means they are going to corrupt our children and just because someone is stupid doesn't mean they can't learn.  Get a grip on the 21st century and give people a chance to be who they are and accept them for that.  Sure we might have different beliefs in religion, politics etc but everyone is human and we all have families.  Stop and think about how your family would feel if they heard someone put you down.  I really don't think that they would appreciate it.  There is my rant for the night.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
