Christmas time
Christmas is such a magical time, chaotic and peaceful all at once. A time of hopes and wishes, but most importantly a time of giving. Some may say Christmas has become too commercial, too flashy. I say, what other time of the year is so much thought given to just giving? So what if it's gotten a bit commercial, you can't really complain about so much attention and advertising if it leads to the Christlike act of giving. Even selfless giving. Who gives at this time of year thinking, what will I get in return? I think most of us give thinking only of bringing joy to the receiver. We give presents to loved ones, donate coats, drop our change into the little red buckets. What a glorious way to remember the birth of our Savior.
