Prominent Pocatellans die
From the Wednesday, Oct. 31 idaho State Journal:
Two prominant Pocatelloans died Tuesday.

Barbara Marshall, 84, and Charles E. ''Chick'' Bilyeu, 90, both passed away at their homes.

Marshall, a longtime Pocatello resident, was born in Portland Oregon and later graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in economics. Marshall was well known in the Gate City for her community philanthropy. She also donated money to projects in Twin Falls, Casper, Wyo., Glens Falls, NY and Salt Lake City.
The Marshall Rotunda in Idaho State University's Stephens Performing Arts Center and the Marshall Public Library are named after her.

Bilyeu, who was recently hospitalized after falling while on a trip to Boise, was a speech and drama professor at ISU and served as a state senator.
Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Home is handling the funeral services, which had not been scheduled as of Tuesday night.

More information about Marshall and Bilyeu will appear in Thursday's edition of the Idaho State Journal.
