Last night for Revive@5 -

During this summer we have had to opportunity to enjoy almost every night that Revive @ 5  was held.  It has been the greatest fun -fantastic  music with lots of dancing, good food and tons of people to meet or get to know better.  It has been an amazing group  - - ISU attendees, jr and senior high schoolers, some young, some old, some in the middle and quite a few children with great manners and friendly smiles.

 I am sure I have the best job in the world!  It has been wonderful to spend Wednesday night painting hands, faces, legs and arms. We have a great future generation growing up in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area.  They are fun, creative, smart and funny, too.

The event is held in the Old Town Pocatello Pevillion - it is amazing!  Besides the food, music and  door prizes the Farmer Market has shared the space with Revive @ 5 - what a great set-up!  The street is closed off so you and enjoy the music while shopping for produce or hand crafted items!

It was not good news that this was the last of the 2007 Revive @ 5 events.  However, there is the good newsthat the Civitans (who did an amazing job this year) are already planning for next year!  We will be there and I sure hope many of you will be too!  Among the things that Civitan did for the community was to help buy 250 backpacks and fill them with needed school supplies for students in need.  WOW!  What a huge undertaking!

It is exciting for us to start the South Eastern Idaho Free Cycle - Here is YOUR INVITATION to join! XOXOX Maxine
It is exciting for us to start the
South Eastern Idaho Free Cycle
which is NOW OPEN andit is FREE!
  Here is YOUR INVITATION to join!  Maxine
What it is?   A Free Group where you can offer good usable items that you do not need or want to someone who can recycle it into a whole new life cycle.  It is also a special place where you can look for items that you need.

Why?  It is good for the environment and also saves taxpayer money!  It is the smart thing to do - it is also fun and will make you feel good,

What can be offered?  Well, a fax machine, washer/ dryer, telephone, kids cloths, baby items, a garbage can on wheels, books, DVD's, videos, hoses, tires, toys/doll, men's and women's cloths, an old piano, pots and pans, craft stuff, heck you can even post a car or truck!

Who can join?   We especially invite people in Pocatello and Chubbuck to join us because of the cost effectiveness for pick-ups and deliveries.  However, there are many small communities that need to be able to take advantage of a FREE CYCLE group.  Because of that we would like to include all of South Eastern Idaho - this means that if you live in out laying area, we are happy to invite you to join, PLEASE consider the cost of gas and time before you join.  So all you in Inkom, McCammon, Malad,Lava Hot Springs and point south and Fort Hall, Blackfoot, Firth, Shelley and points north - Join today and if you live in American Falls, Pingree, Aberdeen, Springfield and point easy - Come along, too!  We cover all of SOUTH EASTERN IDAHO!  Idaho Fall folks may join but keep in mind you do have the Idaho Falls Free Cycle in you own home town.

Sounds to good, what's the catch?    Well, there are a few rules ~ ~ ~           & nbsp;       &n bsp;       &nb sp;

 (1) EVERYTHING MUST BE FREE - no trades, no costs to either party

 (2) NO OFFERS FOR "ITEM IS ON THE DRIVEWAY - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE"   - one of the main goals is to save the environment- this type of post has folks driving and maybe not getting what they want or need. Not wasting resources is something we all want to do!

(3)  TREAT FOLKS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!  If you take something and have a problem and can't pick it up as agreed, call them so they can make other plan!

Think that is about it and then pop over and join.  Hope to see you soon at South Eastern Idaho Free Cycle!   E-mail me at maxineb@gmail.com.  Or Join the group for FREE - Here is the link:
