On the other side of the launch
This past Sunday, Aug. 26, was what we call the "hard launch" of TheJHub. That doesn't mean a whole lot, except that we're amping up our promotion of the site, including articles in the paper, lots of local appearances, and a special concert sponsorship that I'm excited to announce in a few weeks.
TheJHub.com community is growing, and that's exciting. What's even more exciting to me, though, is how I see people using the site - from posting upcoming events to getting a conversation going about Senator Craig's arrest. I'd love to see even more of that going on - good debate is the foundation of democracy, after all. Our philosophy around here is, as they say, 'the more the merrier.' Get your friends on The JHub, strike up some conversations - maybe even meet a few new people. Know someone who needs some convincing? Give 'em my e-mail address. I can be very persuasive. Let me know, too, if I can do anything to encourage you to use the site even more. Feel free to leave a comment here, or e-mail me (kcarpenter@journalnet.com). 1 comments from 1 users
