To the few people who read my blog to stay in touch with me, I can't access my AIM messenger service or my Hotmail account. I expect to get the issue resolved in about a week. Until then, you can reach me at Brookethenews@gmail.com. Or, of course, you can comment on this blog. Sorry for the inconvenience... What am I talking about? I'm living in a place where You-Tube, MySpace and countless other everyday sites are banned. 1 comments from 1 users

Another one of our Jhub users, Unboxed, can certainly relate, as he has lived on and off in China for the last couple of years. In conversations that I've had with him "chatting", he told me once that even in his conversation with me, he felt that he must be careful what he says because he was never sure if the government was tapping in on the conversation. I am convinced that the Internet will be a fundamental key in holding off the strength of tyranny and totalitarianism because it does something the overreaching regimes can't handle: it gives the people power.
